Appearance: 6'4", otherwise average build. Sallow Caucasian skintone, dull blue hair (thin, stringy and slightly wavy, mostly short but long in the back, with a ponytail), tired, puffy red eyes with a definite ruddy tone around them. Clean shaven, very long, rectangular face. Neat knife scar under his chin (slightly visible at most angles), nasty claw scars on the back of his neck, upper back and forearms. Missing his left pinky finger from just below the knuckle, left ring finger is badly arthritic.
Usually wears a blue turtleneck under a grey blazer, black slacks and black cowboy-type boots, with black (nine-fingered) gloves and a sort of a metal neck brace partially under the turtleneck. Also has a heavy metal stud in his upper left ear, which is usually hidden by his hair. Usually had bullets and screws hidden up his sleeves and in his boots, for the record.

Powers: Has a rare-but-not-unheard-of genetic condition that lets him sense and control most metals with his mind. Usually can't move something bigger than a frying pan without getting overwhelmed, but can put dents in larger objects. His specialty is stopping bullets, but he can also shoot them (not rapidfire, more like a pistol) with no gun.
The condition does have its downsides; he has terrible insomnia, suffers from periodic migraines and random vertigo, and has a shortened life span.

Bio: Jilles has had an interesting life, to say the least. When he was five his parents were killed by a particularly theatrical mafia-like organization after his father had stolen money from them. He narrowly escaped the assassination-by-eagle, though not unscathed, and a high-ranking member decided to take him in, figuring that his ability would be a useful asset, which it proved to be. He now works for the organization as a bodyguard, low-ranking with little authority but trusted and respected within the group,

Jilles is a much nicer person than you would expect him to be, particularly to children. He quite likes people in general and is usually kind and polite, but knows how and when to be mean... and his mean is quite nasty. He is, however, extremely serious. Even when he is happy, he does not smile (if he does, something is wrong). His sarcasm detector is mostly nonfunctional and he has no sense of humor; he rarely understands jokes, so he tends to take things literally. He has an eternally weary air about him, so it can be a bit of a surprise when he shows how alert he is.
